Patrick Nnaemeka Okorie, popularly known as Patoranking, was born on May 27, 1990, in Ijegun-Egba, Lagos State, Nigeria. He hails from Onicha, Ebonyi State, in the southeastern part of Nigeria. Growing up in Lagos, Patoranking was exposed to diverse musical styles, from Afrobeat and reggae to hip-hop and fuji, which influenced his unique sound.
