Early Life and Background

Paul Okoye, popularly known by his stage name Rudeboy, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and performer born on November 18, 1981, in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria. He grew up with his twin brother Peter Okoye (Mr P), with whom he later formed the legendary music group P-Square.

Paul attended St. Murumba Secondary School, Jos, where he and his brother developed a passion for music and dance. He later studied Business Administration at the University of Abuja. His early love for reggae, R&B, and Afrobeat influenced the unique sound he is known for today.

The P-Square Era
