Early Life and Background
Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr P, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, dancer, and entrepreneur born on November 18, 1981, in Jos, Plateau State, Nigeria. He grew up alongside his twin brother Paul Okoye (Rudeboy), with whom he later formed the legendary music duo P-Square.
Mr P attended St. Murumba Secondary School, Jos, where he and Paul developed their passion for music and dance. He later studied Business Administration at the University of Abuja before fully pursuing a career in music.
