Early Life and Background
Charles Chibueze Chukwu, popularly known by his stage name Crayon, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter born on November 21, 2000, in Orile Iganmu, Lagos State, Nigeria. He hails from Ebonyi State but grew up in Lagos, where he discovered his passion for music at a young age.
Raised in a vibrant neighborhood, Crayon was heavily influenced by Afrobeats, hip-hop, and street culture. His unique sound blends Afropop, Afrobeats, highlife, and R&B, making him one of the most promising voices in Nigeria’s new generation of artists.
